My name is Jeremy P., and I am a recent graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). I believe that I have the education, experience, and interest in using my skills and background to create value for my students. After three years studying at CU Boulder I realized that a traditional liberal arts school was not going to be able to fulfill my artistic aspiration of being able to apply my creative skills to my career, so I made the switch to SCAD in order to gain the strongest education in the arts that I could.
Although I am only a recent graduate, I have already had internships at two major advertising agencies, TM Advertising and The Richards Group. These internships gave me exposure to clients and an opportunity to interact with and be involved in helping those clients to meet their marketing and creative needs. I have also had first-hand experience working directly for clients like The Home Depot on various projects. I pursued these internships in order to learn about the creative process in the workplace and delivering related services to clients. Based on those experiences, I chose to switch schools and majors as a means to further develop the necessary skills for a career in a creative field.
I am pursuing teaching as a possible full time career, and I enjoy giving one-on-one help and tutoring in a variety of fields. I know that there are many different learning styles, and I believe that I have the range and flexibility to meet your needs.
