My name is Quinn, and I'm excited to work together on challenging topics and subjects.

I grew up in Indiana and graduated from Butler University with degrees in International Affairs and Philosophy and a minor in Religious Studies. After I graduated, I joined the United States Peace Corps in Mali. Due to civil unrest, we were obliged to leave, and I volunteered in India. All of this is to say that I have lots of interesting experience communicating complicated ideas to people think a little differently than I do. I think that communication is not just about the student being pushed to articulate his or her thoughts; it's also about the teacher struggling to understand and be understood.

Because of my academic and volunteer experience, I am particularly well prepared to tutor in Language Arts (grammar, writing, vocabulary, reading, etc.), social sciences (including history, civics, political science, etc.), Hindi, and test prep (GED, GRE, SAT, ACT).

As a philosophy major of Butler University, I passed The Elements of Deductive Logic (aka, Logic 201) with high marks, audited the same class three semesters later just for good measure, and worked closely with the author of our textbook and my adviser, Dr. Stuart Glennan, who is an internationally recognized philosopher of biology and mechanistic causation.

You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
