My name is Alex, and I relish the opportunity to help usher budding speakers to the front of the room. Public speaking is a learned skill and while in the beginning your emotions may travel around the room, you will learn to channel them into a powerful, and energetic source of optimism to eloquently deliver your message.
I also focus on the importance of using the English language appropriately. The emphasis is on speaking to express, not impress. Often the most basic, and fundamental rules in English fly out the window thrusting a speaker into an awkward situation.
I've worked with children as young as six years old, to individuals deep in retirement. The key to succeeding is full participation. Be willing to try everything which makes sense. Once you are comfortable with what works for you, or how to tailor your speeches to different audiences, you will be well on your way. Perhaps the most exciting part of public speaking is being able to refine your techniques and delivery. This is not about over-critiquing your speeches, but about being patient with your progress, and being willing to keep moving forward until you see the tangible benefits.
It's never too late to start and I look forward to hearing from you!
