As a music student at Metro State I received a well-rounded education in music. I learned about what it takes to perform and while learning what to look for in performances. I learned the history of the masters of our past through music history classes including music of the Western Art tradition, jazz, rock, blues, world music, etc.
In addition to the many classes of music history I had during my time at Metro State, I continue to research composers and the many directions music splinters into. The classes I have had while in school include Music History I and II which is the study the Western Art tradition, Jazz Style, American Popular Music, and World Music.
I studied piano for four years at Metro State, two of which were private lessons. During this time I played recitals and other concerts. Prior to my time at Metro I received piano lesson from a few different teachers,
