Hi there! I am a secondary education teacher in Jefferson County Public Schools. This is my fourth year teaching English Language Arts. I teach a variety of content including but not limited to: grammar, vocabulary, literature, writing in multiple genres, as well as SAT and ACT prep in reading and writing. Part of my teaching/ tutoring philosophy focuses on differentiating instruction to meet the needs of a student. The one-on-one tutoring experience allows for a more focused and personalized learning environment for the student, and also provides him/her with the extra help needed in order to be successful in English at school. It is my hope that I can encourage your student and give him/her the confidence they need to achieve their reading and writing goals.
