Hi,

I'm Lani and I have been tutoring my family in math for about two years now. When I was in high school I use to help the people in my math class when they had problems. My method for teaching math is to find out how the student learns, their are different ways to learn math and I need to figure out away to get it to click. Once I get it to click everything will just flow, I go through the rules of math and I will take you through the step to get you through the problem, I will not however give you the answer. I can teach help teach you the tricks of math, so when you look at a problem it doesn't seem so frightening. We take things step by step and piece by piece until you understand.

Algebra 1

Little more complicated then prealgebra, but learn those formulas and how to apply them and you will fly through it.

Vocabulary

Vocabulary words are best learned if you know the meanings behind the word. If you can learn the meaning of the word in a funny or relatable way you are more likely to learn the word.

Prealgebra

All math is, is formulas learn those and you can accomplish anything.

Reading

All reading is the same, you just have to learn how to read between the lines and understand what the writers wants from you.

SAT Reading

For the SAT it is best if you know the meanings of lots of words. If you don't know the meaning of the word you must learn how to use the sentences surrounding that word to figure out its meaning.

ACT Reading

With reading you just have to learn how to read between the lines and really understand what they are looking for.

Elementary Math

Learn the basic rules of math and apply them to what you see, take every problem step by step and don't be afraid.

If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
