I enjoy people and getting to know them, and love helping folks overcome obstacles and succeed.
My teaching style is relational and engaging where I first try to gain rapport and to understand how the student learns, and I am very good at uncovering why someone is struggling with a particular subject. I have three daughters and six granddaughters, so I am quite comfortable tutoring both male and female students.
I have spent most of my career learning how to communicate difficult subjects to audiences of all levels. I tutor in math because I am naturally good at it. I tutor in public speaking because I have spoken in front of audiences in sizes that range form 1 to 1,000, well over a 1,000 times. I tutor in the use of Microsoft Office tools because I have used them for decades. And I tutor in certain business subjects because I consult with large corporations in these areas.
I have spent over 30 years advancing at large, medium, and small companies in the areas of support and customer service, product management, product marketing, market segment management, sales, managing IT professional services engagements, executive and technical sales, business operations, and corporate education. Companies include IBM, Siemens, Quark, O'Neil Data Systems.
I run a contracting and consulting business where I focus on customer insight and communications, digital printing and publishing, business process transformation, and education for corporations in all areas.
The specialty area I am the most proficient in is digital customer communications and marketing. The systems and processes that create, format, manage, distribute, and produce anything that you read in print, receive in the mail, or receive online either marketing or product related.
