I began tutoring as a fourth grader when my teacher asked me to spend half an hour everyday after recess helping a second grader learn to read.
Since then, I have followed my own call to college and seminary. There, I tutored students who were learning Biblical Hebrew and Koine Greek, as well as other general Bible courses. (Some of my Hebrew and Greek students had learning disabilities and came out of school knowing the language better than other students!) My passions lie in helping people learn to reach their full potential in reading. "Full potential," in my mind, means that a person will not only see letters, words, and sentences. A person will think about these, ask questions, form opinions, and be inspired.
Reading and writing should not be dreaded tasks. Reading and writing can be fulfilling, easy, and enjoyable.
