I graduated with a math education degree at the Metropolitan State University of Denver at the end of 2010, and received my high school math teacher license mid 2011. Immediately thereafter I went to Tanzania, East Africa to volunteer for a year teaching primary and secondary math and English in both government schools and small private schools for local underprivileged youth. I recently returned from the trip, and am having trouble finding a full time teaching position.

I have gone through AVID tutoring training and have experience tutoring with that organization, during my student teaching and field experiences, as well as private contracts.

Teaching is my passion, and I am very excited about the opportunity to tutor with WyzAnt.

How do I receive a discount?

Save between 5 and 15% on tutoring by purchasing credit with one of our prepaid discount packages. You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
