I recently graduated from Metro State with a BA in History. I have been tutoring formally and informally for many years and have worked with students of all ages, through elementary school to college. One of my passions is helping young people find their own love of learning. When tutoring, I try to relate the material to the students own life and the world around them. This, I have found, is especially important in subjects such as History, Science, Social Studies and others that are often presented in abstract formal ways. My goal is to spark the student's own interest and set them on the path of a life-long learner.
I can tutor all subjects between 3rd and 8th grade; English, Geography, History, Social Studies (Sociology), Political Science and related fields up through freshmen year of college.
