I have enjoyed employment as a tutor at a liberal arts college writing center, serve as a volunteer tutor for underprivileged children and, of course, currently offer private tutoring sessions! My experience working one-on-one with individuals of such diverse backgrounds throughout the creative process has taught me how unique each mind truly is. Essentially, this concept is the crux of my tutoring philosophy and the driving force behind my method. I work with each student to design unique lessons that cater to his or her particular personality and learning style. I like to allow my clients the space to dictate and guide our lessons rather than imposing my own preferences and style-- I am here to accommodate your needs, not the other way around. That being said, I work diligently to provide students with the tools and advice they need. I do my "homework" to ensure the highest quality instruction, and will continue to explore or invent new teaching techniques until we arrive at one that best suits you.
