I have a natural teaching talent. I don't just open my mouth and give instruction. Rather, I listen in order to determine where the student is. Then I work to bring the student from that point to where he or she needs to be, one step at a time. I'm very logical, and I'm good at explaining things. I'm open to questions at any time. My goal is the understanding of the student. I tutor all ages and all levels. I specialize in teaching gifted students. I can help with various subjects, including English, ESL, Spanish, math, GED, citizenship, history, social studies, reading, writing, and Macintosh computer operation. I also counsel students on how to study, how to learn, how to take tests. I can tutor any subject that just requires reading and understanding and learning. An example of this would be history or philosophy or any other similar subject taught in school. I specialize in teaching math to people who have trouble with math. I have superior knowledge of English and can help with grammar, composition, spelling, punctuation, reading, and writing. The student is always in control of the equipment when I teach computer lessons. My hands are not on the keyboard or the mouse. This is the only way that a person can learn to do things on the computer. I get along well with students of all ages, including adults. I treat everyone as an equal; I don't talk down to anyone, including children.
