Ari has excellent skills for vocabulary, sentence structure, and punctuation. I can now submit my assignments confident that it is error free. Not only did she do a great job with proofreading, she was also able to explain some key concepts about my assignment that I had not understood. I would definitely recommend her as a tutor!
As a first year social work grad student I was very concerned after a failing grade on a tough midterm. I had several difficult assignments and research papers coming up and needed to do well on them to pull up my grade. There were also difficult to grasp concepts that were probably going to appear on my final exam. Helped by Ari's tutoring and editing skills, I received an 'A' in my classes!

I appreciate Nicole contacting me to help facilitate communication with a German-speaking relative, far away. When her relative sent emails in German, I'd translate them into English, and then do the same for Nicole's English responses back in to German to send to Europe. It meant a lot to me to observe how the family connection was strengthened as mutual understanding and sharing between the worlds was made easy!

We just started with Ari -- we have a Waldorf kid and she was starting to feel uneasy that she was not really reading and shutting down with both my husband and myself. Ari has taken the task and my daughter is excited for sessions and the special tips that she is getting. Ari discusses what she encounters with our daughter specifically after the tutoring session. Our daughter leaves enthusiastic. We are hoping to get over the hump and are encouraged.

Ari had an excellent tutoring lesson with our daughter. She went back to basics, to help her better understand the German language. Ari was very patient and thorough in her explanations as she went through each drill.
Ari recommended a good German/English dictionary and brought it to the tutoring session. She also recommended a great verb book for us to purchase.
Overall we were very pleased with Ari, and look forward to next week.

Ari is a wonderful tutor, she helped me with reading practice on how to find the key to success with less time and with Teas test, which is the nursing school entrance exams. I found Ari because I wanted a tutor for German so I could practice speaking as well as learning new grammar and vocabulary. She quickly discovered my proficiency with German and adjusted her tutoring to fit it. Rather than learning things that were irrelevant or useless, she has helped me with vocabulary I haven't learned yet regarding my family, friends, hobbies, etc. as well as helped me to create a German-style resume I can use later as an application. Her style is a mix of conversation and learning, and a typical lesson for me will involve speaking about a subject in my life and noting words, phrases, or idioms that she can provide me about the subject. She has significant German experience and mixes in regular learning with fun phrases and idioms (and sometimes stories, too) that make the tutoring experience fun and helpful.
All in all, great tutor and five stars

In just 2 tutoring sessions, Ari was able to get my daughter caught up in a variety of subjects. She helped my daughter outline tasks to be completed in each subject, and then helped her prioritize the list.
I work from home and it was fun to hear the laughter and encouragement Ari facilitated. My daughter has been struggling with German for over two years. Ari offered to pick up a great German dictionary from the bookstore, and she also had original, creative ideas to help my daughter remember how to spell some pretty tough words in German. I'm amazed to hear her speaking German with confidence!
As a licensed teacher myself, I would highly recommend Ari as a tutor!
