Great experienced Math and Test Prep Tutor/Teacher

I believe you should ENJOY the math you are studying! Have fun with it and relax. This is when things start making sense and you begin to feel like you are mastering the subject, not just "getting by." Approach it as if it's puzzle or game -- with its own rules. Of course, the trick is to play at it every day and really concentrate!!

I am an experienced middle school, high school, and adult education math teacher with loads of experience tutoring on a one-on-one basis. I have passed the math portion of the GRE exam with a perfect 800 score, also! My graduate work is in architecture and design.

I especially love working with students who have some fear of the subject or who have previously had an uncomfortable experience with it.

I have taught Algebra 1 for many years to middle and high school students. We have worked on applications and how this relates to things in real life. I realize that Algebra is a big step up from the math many have worked at previously with great success. Now they may be struggling a bit and losing confidence. It's usually quite easily remedied with help!
