I have a B.S. in Technical Writing and Editing with minors in Digital Media and History. My primary experience is in writing, editing, and research as well as using HTML/CSS coding and graphic work in Photoshop. I have four technical books published along with several online tutorials, presentations, and websites.

I want to encourage a desire to learn as well as to create a more confident and comfortable approach to language. While I will dictate proper grammar and spelling, I prefer to discuss sentence structure and word choices along with guiding the student toward an accurate and ethical use of resources for research purposes.

Web Design

I have built 10 classic and two mobile websites using HTML and CSS. I am currently researching and compiling a how-to manual aimed at beginners on building your own website.

While I do use tables in my websites, it is strictly for organization of specific information which is better presented in a table although I find tables necessary for layout of email newsletters.
