My name is Alfred. I live in Denver Colorado.

My Qualifications are:
Physics, Math & Engineering.

I can teach:
- all algebra and trig levels
- all calculus levels
- Differential equations
- Partial differential equations
- Vector analysis
- Fourier analysis
- Complex analysis
- Vector mechanics for engineers
- Dynamics for engineers

I have extensive teaching experience, both on a college level and one-on-one. I have experience tutoring college students, high-school, middle and elementary students.

I hold an MS in electrical engineering, a BS in Physics and a BA in English and Philosophy

My experience has taught me how to be in the student's shoes and how to explain a solution in a manner that is tailored for each individual's specific way of thinking. I try to avoid scientific and mathematical jargon and do make sure that the student understands the meaning of everything that is being said. For instance, I do not casually say the word "polynomial" assuming that everybody knows what that word means. Instead, I explain it in a direct, short and down-to-Earth manner so that next time you hear it you know you are in control.

My job is not to impress you, but to help you see the simplicity behind what most people perceive to be an impossible task. One of the most common responses to my style of teaching is "That is sooo cool; you make it seem so easy". This is a typical response from my college as well as my HS students. Another thing worth mentioning is: I make learning a fun experience and I have always seen impressive progress among my students. I am proud of what I do.
If you need assistance in math, physics or even engineering, let me know.

Thank you for your attention.

I was born in Israel and studied Arabic throughout my school years; from elementary school through high school I read and studied Arabic history, poetry both classic and modern, literature, fiction and much more. Throughout my school years I wrote essays in Arabic and have practiced the spoken language with native Arabic speakers from different countries. Thus, I know different dialects and different accents. I have even studied classical Arabic which embodies the most accurate grammatical rules of the language and reflects the social values of Arab communities living in the distant past. Arabic is a rich language overflowing with imagery; it lends itself easily to rhyme and poetic as well as prose writing.

Differential Equations

Differential-Equations is a field I have dealt since my freshman years. My majoring in physics made it inevitable for me to become increasingly good at the subject matter. Building a differential equation is a major step in creating a mathematical model for a physical system, be it mechanical, electrical, biological, ecological, economic or anything else; it is a step that requires insight into the nature of the system. Solving a differential equation, which is what the topic of Differential Equations is about requires training, experience and the ability to identify patterns and structures, such as quadratic forms, which a technique encountered in solving second-order differential equations.
I have used differential equations extensively in both physics problems and engineering problems. I have helped a lot of students taking differential equations and have built enough experience allowing me to handle the subject matter with sufficient expertise. In addition to the above, I have passion for the subject.

Geometry has been a favorite science subject since high-school; in fact it has been one of my strongest points too. I have always found a robust understanding of geometry extremely useful (and even indispensable) in physics, engineering, calculus and almost every mathematical discipline. I have been teaching geometry not only as a subject in its own right but also as part of the calculus series and other calculus-based subjects. I have also learned how to how in the student's shoes, which gives me an edge as a geometry teacher.

Fabulous — He showed me a totally new way to set up the equations which was so much easier, efficient and better than the way I had been doing them. Using this new way helps me view the problem much more systematically and to know exactly what to do to solve them. Since I am on a tight budget, he was able to help with extreme efficiency so that I was able to grasp it within my hour long time constraint. Alfr ...
