Approved subjects are in bold.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Adobe Photoshop

Photoshop and Photoshop Elements, while powerful programs, are not the most consumer friendly software on the market. I can help you get over the steep learning curve so that in no time you will be able to take your images and turn them into wonderful photographs. My lessons can be done in the comfort of your desk with Computer to Computer classes over the internet. Email me today for more information.

Photography

I have been a professional photographer and instructor for over twenty five years. A former portrait studio owner in Arizona I have photographed both people and products for clients all over the US. Starting with film I have shoot 35mm, medium format and even 4x5 sheet film.
In the late nineties I transition into digital and never looked back. The basic principals of photography still applied but now cameras have a stronger dependents on electronics and computer chips. This requires not just the background in photography but 21 century understanding of computers and digital programs.
A patient and creative instructor he has been teaching camera operation and photography techniques in Northern Colorado for the last nine years.

One request I get more than any other is on color correction. Well I will be covering this but first lets start with the most simple way and build up to complex over the next few weeks. First unless you really understand color values and have faith that no matter how bad your monitor you can do it by the numbers you do need to have your monitor at least up to about 90% correct. There are... read more

This handy tool is most commonly used for those pesky little problems like zits, moles, and stray hairs. All you do is just select the tool, (looks like a rubber stamp in the tool bar) move your cursor next to the problem, hold down the Alt (Option Mac) which... read more
