Algebra 1

I am currently a pre-algebra teacher and am in charge of preparing 7th graders to enter an 8th grade algebra class. Previously, I taught and tutored at a high performing charter school in Boston in an 8th grade Algebra class. I have logged hundreds of hours tutoring in math (especially algebra) and love sharing what I know with my students.

English

I was an English Education major in college and spent four years of my life perfecting teaching methods and practices. I have taught three different summer and weekend classes in reading and writing and love sharing these experiences with new students in one-on-one settings.

I am also very familiar with state standards and tests and have experience with test prep in these areas.

ACT English

I have tutored high school students preparing for the ACT for about a year. I scored a 31 on the test myself and love sharing my knowledge about standardized test taking and basic skills with new students.
