First of all, thank you for your interest! I am an art historian, museum professional, and teacher/writer. Currently, I am also a PhD candidate in the visual arts. My interest lies with art, history, and cultural studies. I speak several foreign languages such as Dutch (my native tongue), German and French. My teaching experience includes several years of adjunct teaching at the college level in Holland and the United States. My teaching style is based on stimulating inquiry rather than lecturing. I believe that teaching is a journey that we can take together. It is my sincere hope that we will never stop asking questions. I hold a Masters degree in Art History from the University of Utrecht, The Netherlands. I worked as a museum curator for many years. I have 15 years of working experience as a museum curator. I also teach art history at the college level. Currently I am enrolled in a doctorate program in the visual arts.
