, I have a strong background in curriculum and training development and delivery for both classroom and online learning, working with both group and individual learners. Moreover, I have worked at the university level as a career services advisor, as a consultant developing and delivering counseling skills training for career advisors, and as a graduate student clinician providing individual and group counseling to culturally diverse university students.
I am currently serving as adjunct faculty in psychology
at Metro State College of Denver and Regis University and have been teaching a range of online courses for a culturally diverse population of adult learners for Axia College of the University of Phoenix, for more than three years. Prior to this, I worked for more than five years in Human Resource Development for the U.S. Department of Labor as coordinator of the web-based online learning program for the Employment and Training Administration. There I helped to coordinate the development and implementation of the agency's online learning program, managed the grants and contracts associated with the program and supervised and delivered all training for use of the OLS to agency managers and staff.
I have two years' experience teaching undergraduate English and journalism, including participation in academic advising and curriculum development.
