I completed my BA in Sociology with a minor in Business at the University of Colorado at Boulder. I then completed additional coursework for Elementary Education licensing at CU Denver. I began teaching math and accounting at a private high school where I worked one on one with many students in our learning needs program. From the work I did with those students, I decided to move to the counseling department for two years where I was a counselor for students who need special learning support.
I also completed a Masters of Education at Regis University in Administrative Leadership. My teaching style will allow each student to apply their knowledge to real life applications of the content area. My teaching is student-centered so that I am able to meet the needs of the student.
I taught high school math for 4 years. Currently, I am the Dean of Students at a high school in the Metro area, and I coach a high school dance team.
