My students tell me that they love learning with me because they can tell that I have so much fun teaching them. I have taught English in business, organizational, academic and private settings for nearly twenty years. I empower people of all ages to organize and clearly express their ideas in speaking and writing. I help students think critically and to organize their ideas for maximum effect. I work with both native speakers and those for whom English is a foreign language. I am creative, enthusiastic, experienced, professional, and committed. I have a fun, hands-on approach with serious results. I love what I do.

ADD/ADHD

As a teacher, I have helped many students suffering with ADHD. However, it wasn't until my own son was diagnosed with ADHD that I finally began to understand it. Kids with ADD and ADHD are just as capable as their peers. They simply need help with maintaining focus and holding onto information. It is important to me that kids with ADD/ADHD be treated with respect, and that they become empowered to take control of their own behavior and learning. Using study skills and behavioral techniques, I can help students with ADHD start to bridge the gap between them and success.
