I graduated from Regis University with honors. My degree is a Bachelor of Science in Accounting with a minor in Finance. Prior to that, I received my Associate of Applied Science in Accounting from Pikes Peak Community College. I also graduated from Pikes Peak with honors, and the designation of Phi Theta Kappa National Honor Society member. I graduated high school toward the top of my class and scored a near perfect score on the math portion of my ACT.

I began tutoring in 2008 with college students, specifically in math and accounting; with one student that I helped prepare for the ASVAB. Additionally, I work with my son, who has ADD/ADHD, in all elementary education topics. I am well known for the level of patience that I have in tutoring. I also have the ability to tailor my tutoring to the learning style of the student. I have experience in tutoring in a variety of subjects including elementary education, math, accounting and Microsoft Excel. I have also tutored a wide variety of learning styles including students with ADD/ADHD. I have flexibility in hours available for tutoring which include anytime after school and weekends.

I scored a 34 on my math ACT, and have experience in tutoring for various math classes.

Elementary (K-6th)

I am the mother of three children with extensive experience in tutoring them in elementary education. I also have experience with tutoring children with ADD/ADHD. My first year of college was also completed with a focus on Elementary Education.

Accounting

I graduated from Regis University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting with a designation of Magna Cum Laude.

QuickBooks

I have extensive experience with QuickBooks including attaining knowledge of the program through a full semester of training in college as well as extensive personal use of QuickBooks.

ADD/ADHD

I have extensive experience in tutoring individuals with ADD/ADHD. I have been tutoring ADD/ADHD individuals in various elementary subjects for the last 4 years. I have successfully improved their understanding of the topics while improving their grades by at least one letter grade.

Linear Algebra

With a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, math has been an integral part of my education. Specifically, math was my favorite subject that I excelled in more than any other.

Microsoft Outlook

I have experience with the entire Microsoft Office suite including extensive experience in Microsoft Outlook both at home at work all the way through Outlook 2010.

I have extensive experience with Microsoft Windows including college training and personal use of Windows XP, Vista and 7 both at home and work for the last 15 years.
