I am a retired U.S. Air Force officer who has started a second career as a high school teacher. This past academic year, I taught AP Physics C, Physics and Algebra in the classroom, and I previously worked for a semester as a school-sponsored math and science tutor. I have experience in numerous subjects, having taught or tutored students in Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Trigonometry, Pre-calculus, Calculus, Chemistry, and Physics.

I believe I can achieve uncommon success as a tutor by striving for excellence, one student at a time. I recognize that students learn in different ways and at varying rates; they are motivated by different factors and achieve comprehension in different ways. Superior teachers adapt styles to situations and individuals to find ways to reach and motivate each individual. As a tutor, I seek to get to know each and every one of my students, I will understand their strengths and their challenges, and I will adapt my teaching style and methods to reach each and every one.
