Hello students and parents,

I am a math tutor. I have over five years of experience tutoring at the junior high school, high school and college levels. I received my master’s degree in Electric Engineer from University of Colorado at Boulder, and my bachelor’s degree is in Science and Math, with a Psychology Minor. I have been tutoring since I was in Undergrad. I am volunteering as a tutor to help the kids study at my Church.

The Subjects I am tutoring include: all levels of Math [Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Algebra II, College Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus and Linear Algebra]; all levels of Chinese [Speaking, Writing and Reading]; and all levels of Physics.

Here is the brief information about how I tutor:

I help to create the self-confidence of study. I help to build a unique way to learn math for every student that is easy, understandable and efficient. I help students understand the key theories and formulas and get the ideas to solve problems. I give practice only when needed.

Differential Equations

I have taken Differential Equations Class as one part of our Advanced Mathematics classes, when I was in College. It is the required course for undergraduate students of my major. My professor gave us very difficult and tricky questions on our exams; nonetheless, I got an A- in this class. I feel very confident to tutor.

Linear Algebra

I took Linear Algebra in the college too. It is another part of Advanced Mathematics classes. It was required to complete the Advanced Mathematics classes in the first two years of the college in my major. I did very well in this class. I just tested myself using the midterm exams from University of Toronto, and I got 90% of the questions correct.

Microsoft Outlook

I have more than two years Software tester work experience. It was required to use Microsoft Outlook to receive all email from work. It is very easy to use and very helpful. I use it not only everyday, but almost every five minutes or less at work.

Microsoft Project

I have more than two years of Software tester work experience. We use the Microsoft Project to manage all the projects we were processing, since the planning to delivered to the industry. I use it almost everyday to mark my status.
