Presently a Ph.D student at CU Boulder, I have a Master's in Math from Boise State University and a law degree from the University of Notre Dame. I tutored for nine years before going to law school and have taught eight college math classes over the last seven years. I clerked for a judge for two years and passed the bar in both Nevada and Idaho. But, teaching is my passion. It is what drew me away from a full-time legal career. I have presented my theories on math education to three education conferences and am very good at what I love.

I have extensive experience, and have had great success teaching at all levels: elementary through higher-level undergraduate courses.

Corporate Training:

ACT Math, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Calculus, Differential Equations, Discrete Math, Geometry, Linear Algebra, Logic, Prealgebra, Precalculus, Probability, SAT Math, Statistics, Trigonometry

English:

I have achieved the following scores on standardized math tests: 35 on ACT math in 2000, 99-percentile on GRE in 2012, and 78-percentile on GRE Math Subject test (upper-level college math) in 2012.

I have a Masters in Mathematics and have taught eight semesters of college math. I tutored for nine years and have presented my education theories at three education conferences. I graduated from the University of Notre Dame Law School in 2011 and clerked for a judge for two years. But my love for teaching drew me back into math and I am presently a Ph.D Mathematics student at CU-Boulder. I have had great success with students at all ages; partly because I know my stuff, but mostly because I love to teach.

I earned a J.D. from the University of Notre Dame Law School in May 2011, passed the Nevada Bar in July 2012, and passed the UBE in Idaho Bar in February 2013. I am admitted to practice in both States and am in the process of being admitted into Colorado, which accepts the UBE.

Although I have tutored just about every math subject there is, I have tutored calculus far more often than any other subject. I rarely encounter a problem that I haven't seen several times in the past and I've had great success helping students make the leap from pre-calc to calc.

I took Differential Equations in undergrad, earned a Masters, and am presently a Math Ph.D student. I have tutored this particular class and have taken Partial Differential Equations, a graduate course which listed Differential Equations as a prerequisite.

I took Discrete Math in undergrad, earned a Masters, and am presently a Math Ph.D student. I tutored my fellow classmates and have taken several graduate courses that discussed discreteness: set theory, topology, number theory, etc.

I have a Masters in Mathematics and have taught eight semesters of college math. I tutored for nine years and have presented my education theories at three education conferences. I graduated from the University of Notre Dame Law School in 2011 and clerked for a judge in Reno, NV for two years. But my love for teaching drew me back into math and am presently a first-year Ph.D Mathematics student at CU-Boulder. I have had great success with students at all ages; partly because I know my stuff, but mostly because I love to teach.

I took Linear Algebra in undergrad, earned a Masters, and am presently a Math Ph.D student. I have not tutored this particular class, but I have tutored undergraduate analysis, so I have experience teaching upper level undergraduate classes. I have also taken Linear Programming, a graduate course which listed Linear Algebra as a prerequisite.

My emphasis in graduate school, where I earned a Masters, was Logic and Set Theory. I am presently a Math Ph.D student. I have taught Logic and Set Theory for several introductory undergraduate courses and I have taken several graduate Logic and Set Theory courses, including a special topics course concerning the independence of the continuum hypothesis from ZFC.

Excellent — Trevor is great. He is very patient. He is helping so much! He really can explain everything well. Thank you. ...
