I am able to offer tutoring in various areas. I completed my doctoral coursework in International Relations & Comparative Politics with a speciality in Asia & Africa. I can also offer tutoring to students who have or would like a major in Religious Studies with an emphasis in Buddhism. I offer training/teaching in ACT/GRE prep. I was a Teaching Assistant in Comparative Politics, Sub-Saharan Africa & International Relations. I was also concurrently a Research Assistant in Comparative Politics and International Relations. My seminars were typically attended by undergraduates at the University of Colorado at Boulder twice a week.
My approach to tutoring is first, to determine your needs with respect to subject area, grade level, along with an assessment of where you are at with the subject matter and areas of strength that can be developed. I will provide detailed assessments to determine your knowledge level prior to examinations at your grade level. My teaching methodology leave room for interaction and discussion of the subject matter along with listening carefully to determine what your needs are. Follow-ups will be provided on a regular basis so that you may determine whether the tutoring sessions are helping you improve your knowledge base and understanding.
