In total I have 3 years of experience as a tutor. The past 2 years I was a professional tutor in Miami, FL. During this time I gained valuable experience in tutoring grades K-12. I have worked with students with various learning disabilities and kids of all backgrounds. One of the most rewarding things about tutoring is seeing how the students grow and learn to value the work they do. That is what I strive to accomplish with each of the students I work with. I am fluent in Spanish. I am very comfortable tutoring any Math or Science subject up to the basic college level. I can also tutor most other subjects to the high school level. I am also open to special requests or help with semester projects.

I am a down to earth individual with an outgoing personality. I enjoy outdoor activities such as: cycling, hiking, wind surfing, kayaking, and other various water sports. I am very much a people person and enjoy meeting new faces. I try to keep tutoring lively and enjoyable, while maintaining a professional relationship.

GRE

This is a standardized test that I have plenty of experience in. I just took the new GRE this last month and after doing plenty of studying on my own, I do believe I understand the test very well - especially the Quantitative (Math) section. Geology

My true passion is Geology. This was the focus of my undergraduate studies at the University of Florida. I plan on continuing my graduate education in the field and would like to focus on Igneous Petrology & Volcanology. I also am familiar with Geochemistry as well. I have plenty of experience in tutoring students in intro level geology courses as well.

ACT Math
