Many people think Japanese is an impossible language to learn because of all the characters, but I'm here to prove to you that it's far from the case! I don't just work out of a textbook. Instead, I focus on interactivity, immersion, and entertainment. My lessons are designed to reflect real-life situations so my students learn Japanese to prepare them for actual speaking, rather than just an exam. I keep my lessons fun and my students engaged through many different games, songs/tongue-twisters, pictures, and stories that all ages can enjoy.

I have studied Japanese for almost a decade now. I have both my BA in Japanese as well as the N2 certification from the Japanese Language Proficiency Test. In addition, by July I will be a licensed high school/middle school Japanese language teacher.
