I have 25+ years of experience working with preschool through high school age students in the public schools. My focus is on language/learning disabilities. I have had additional training in various reading programs and I am currently supervising graduate students at the Speech and Hearing clinic at CU.
I have worked with ADD/ADHD students K-12 in the public schools. Some of these students have been on medication, others not. I can also teach test preparation skills that are useful for day-to-day quiz and test taking. I use mnemonics and graphic organizers to maximize recall of important facts/data.
I am willing to help applicants in the areas of Word Knowledge and Paragraph Comprehension on the ASVAB. I may be of assistance in other areas, as well, but those would be the best match for my skills.
