I have worked with a wide variety of students with learning challenges over the last 26 years. I have a California State and Waldorf Teaching Credential; am a certified movement therapist trained in two methods of therapy; and mentored many teachers. I have worked with math phobia, reading struggles, disgraphia, focus issues, clumsiness, hypersensitivity, organizational problems, ADHD, Aspergers, Autistic Spectrum, and many other varieties of learning challenges. My sessions frequently include movement, art, and tutorial. Science has proven that the brain can be remapped for learning through movement. Specific subject oriented tutorial sessions are also available. Through an interview and short evaluation process with your child, we can choose the correct support. References from satisfied teachers and parents are available on request.

Special Needs

I developed the Remedial Education Program at Rudolf Steiner College and have worked as a support teacher for 28 years. Cooking

I started cooking myself at the age of 12 for our whole family. I love creating recipes. I have taught cooking to elementay students in Waldorf schools several years. I cook for a spiritual group in Boulder 2-3 times a month. I am a personal cook for a woman with Celiacs and know about special diets.

ADD/ADHD

I have worked with ADD/ADHD students for more than 20 years. I am a certified Movement Therapist as well as Certified Teacher and experienced tutor.

Aspergers

I had 8 years of training in helping students with movement issues. Most Asbergers students have movement issues. I also developed the Remedial Education Program at Rudolf Steiner College and have worked as a support teacher for 28 years assessing siudents. I mentored teachers in public and private schools for 15 tears and gave 26 workshops to Special Ed teachers at Sacramento City Schools. I have worked with many Aspbergers students.

Dyslexia

I developed the Remedial Education Program at Rudolf Steiner College and have worked as a support teacher for 28 years assessing students. I mentored teachers in public and private schools throughout Northern California for 15 years, and gave 26 workshops to Sacramento City Special Ed teachers. I have worked with many dyslexic students.

Social Studies

I was a home school teacher for 9 years in California. As well as teaching small group Social Studies classes to 1-8, I also tutored 5th-12th grade students in Social Studies. I also have my Colorado Teaching Credential.
