I have a degree in English from Syracuse University in New York and one in Fine Arts. I also have 15 years of tutoring and teaching experience in English, ESL and Spanish.

Some previous work positions include: teaching Spanish at the University of Colorado (CU) in Boulder; tutoring English, ESL and Spanish at Front Range Community College in Longmont, Colorado; and tutoring English and Spanish at CU-Boulder. I also spent 1 year teaching ESL and English in Seoul, Korea.

Last year I worked as a bilingual tutor in English and Spanish with children in the No Child Left Behind Program. My work experience ranges from proofreading and editing to journalism and translation (Spanish and French). I have been visiting Latin America off and on for the last 20 years.
