My experience is in tutoring both math and science for middle school, high school, and undergraduate students.
I was a tutor for all levels of math, from basic math to algebra, trigonometry and calculus. My tutoring experience was as an undergrad student, particularly during my work at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, where I was a chemistry major with a biochemistry option. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from UCCS in 2005.
I also was a tutor for homeschooled students and was homeschooled myself for middle school and high school.
I completed my Ph.D. in human medical genetics at the University of Colorado Denver Anschutz Medical Campus in 2010. I am currently working at the university as a research associate, in a lab that studies the genetics of scoliosis.
I enjoy helping students understand a subject that is particularly difficult for them.
