I have a bachelors degree in Business and an MBA in Finance and Accounting. Thoroughly trained in the quantitative skills, I have spent my career perfecting and teaching effective writing and presentation skills. While I work in banking full time, my greatest satisfaction comes from tutoring my students on evenings and weekends. I have accrued countless hours of tutoring nearly all subjects through the high school level, including the successful tutoring of four grown children who have since made successful transitions to college and professional careers.
The stress of struggling with demanding courses and tests can be overwhelming to students and families who may not know how to break the cycle of frustration. Many times, the only missing ingredient is the focus and encouragement that can be brought by an experienced tutor who has been down the road before. My goal is to give my students the confidence and the skills they need to succeed. My hope is that, in this process, the students also discover the joy and fun of learning!
