Currently, I am a full time student who lives at home and commutes to my county college. I am majoring in Psychology with hopes of pursuing a career in counseling.
I have a very strong work ethic. I’ve been working since I was 16, sometimes having two jobs at once. My work experience includes: A&P Supermarkets (2.5 years), American Eagle Outfitters (1 year) and Chili’s, which is where I am currently and have been since February 2011. This past semester I took 18 credits and worked an average of 20-30 hours a week and made the Dean's List with a 3.8 GPA. I am very good at managing my time and managing stress.
I love helping people and I can explain difficult information so that it is easy to understand. I understand that everyone is different and this is no different for their learning styles. I would first ask my student how they prefer to learn material, and then adapt to that style. I want to make it interesting! You retain so much more information when you are interested in the subject! I can help you do that.
I am a good friend, trustworthy, patient, kind, fun, enthusiastic, and have a big heart. I want my students to succeed and be confident in the material I am helping them learn, and I am confident that with me as a tutor, they will achieve that.
