As a natural history and science museum educator for nearly 30 years, I have educated diverse people of all ages in many different subjects, appealing to their varied learning styles and interests. I have a very broad and extensive science, arts, and culture content background and an MA in Biological Anthropology from the University of New Mexico and an Honors BA in Animal Biology and an Honors BA in Physical Anthropology from the University of Utah.
My primary teaching philosophy is “constructivist,” starting from where the student is in their understanding and interest and building up their knowledge from there. I enjoy using the inquiry method and approaching content together as a team!
