My name is Peter and I am a Senior at CSU studying to be a high school science teacher! I am a certified AVID tutor and am going into student teaching this fall. I thoroughly enjoy helping people with math and science related school work and do it on a regular basis for my friends and sister. When I took the AP Calculus test in high school I received a 5 on it so tutoring AP Calculus is something I love doing and am good at. I have been tutoring Calculus 1 or AB, Physics and Chemistry for 3 years. I am enthusiastic about math and science and I cannot wait to be your math or science tutor. I am a visual learner so If I can see or visualize it I tend to learn better, so that is also how I teach! I do my best to explain things using visuals and pictures or graphs. I also like structure so I try my best to do step by step processes and I make sure the student understands before moving on. I hope this helps you choose the best tutor for yourself or your student!
