I have my Masters in Applied Mathematics from the University of Washington and my Bachelors in Electrical Engineering from Colorado State University. I hold a Tennessee and Colorado teaching license for math and CTE. I've coached football for the past 10 seasons and I have worked as a high school math teacher in Colorado for that past 8 years. I recently moved to Tennessee to follow my wife's career. Courses I have taught or currently teaching are as follows: Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, AP Calculus AB, ACT Math Prep and I have also taught with an integrated curriculum. I help students understand basic concepts and build on them so that they can apply them to contextual problems as well. Becoming a football coach lead me to becoming a teacher. I found that my players struggled with basic math concepts at the High School level. The football coach in me understands that practice aides in understanding and perfection, but if you don't have the foundation and basic skills, it is very difficult to move forward. I will help build those basic skills and prepare your son or daughter for the ACT, SAT, College, or just help them in the class that they are currently in. I have used math at the highest level and know what it takes to get there.
