With 5/5 scores on all AP English tests, a 30/30 score in the writing section and a 29/30 in reading on the ACT test, I know what it takes to not only satisfy requirements, but to excel - to stand out in a sea of students and confidently shine in communicative arts.
I am currently a student at the University of Colorado at Denver and am pursuing a double major in Sociology and Criminal Justice and have been a Seibu-Kan karate instructor for over ten years. That focus, combined with a passion for theater and upbringing in a family of teachers and professors, lend me unique insight into not only the skills required to succeed, but the instinctual compassion I truly believe is necessary to connect with students and help them achieve their goals.
I currently am employed by New Wind Ad Company, as well as Fogerty & Woodrow as a copywriter and social media consultant. These positions have helped me fine tune my abilities to compose all manner of messages, effectively, no matter the audience, and to communicate my editorial input to several different clients.
I am driven and committed to boost students' confidence. From remedial grammatical lessons to advanced composition, I am able to connect with children and teens of all skill levels, My only goal is to help struggling or flatlining students achieve their goals, and bolster their confidence in the area of communication- an area in which fewer and fewer graduates are able to shine.
Let me help your student shine!
