I am 38 years old and the English language is a constant passion of mine. My education started in private school K-5. I attended public school through high school, then went into the workforce. In 2009, I decided; at the encouragement of my daughter; to go back to school. I am currently halfway through my Bachelor's program with communication as my major. I have an extensive library of poetry I have written over the past 25 years. I am highly motivated to teach young people. I received my Associate's Degree in Sports Management in 2011. I have been involved in athletics since I was a child and I have a genuine passion for athletics as well. I have a great deal of knowledge in basketball and baseball. I have also been cooking since I was 10. My mother was my first teacher and I gained a wealth of knowledge in the kitchen from her. I cook everything but desserts. My passion for food may only be outdone by my passion for teaching others and sharing what I have learned throughout my life. I am a single father with one beautiful daughter. I have decided to pursue this as I begin my quest to become a California Accredited teacher, another move inspired by my daughter. I look forward to the opportunity to teach, facilitate, and nurture the growth of young people wherever the road leads me.
