I am a personable, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic tutor. I treat all my students like my own daughter or son. My goal is to ensure that each student reaches their full potential to secure a successful future. My prime focus is on "teaching the student" not just the coursework, which makes an immense impact on affirmative learning by building competence and soaring confidence, with motivation, focus, and problem solving skills. And, my individualized attention ensures that your child remains engaged which fosters an attentive and effective learning atmosphere of curiosity and creativity.

I have a Master's in Electrical Engineering and have been teaching math on a part time basis for over 25 plus years. I have provided private Math Tutoring to kids from Grades 2-11 (Math including Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Algebra II and Honors Geometry).

In 2001, I successfully passed the California Basic Educational Skills Test (CBEST) required by the state of California for all prospective teachers.

I have actively participated in teaching Math for the "NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND PROGRAM" in Placentia, Yorba Linda, Huntington Beach, Santa Ana and Newport - Costa Mesa School Districts (2nd Grade to 11th Grade).

I have also taught after-school interactive SAT Math programs at a private High School in Orange County to students from Connelly, Servite and Rosary High Schools. I have also taught Honors Geometry to High School students from Uni Hi School in Irvine, Troy High School in Fullerton and Fountain Valley High School.

I have also taught INTERMEDIATE AND COLLEGE ALGEBRA to students from Golden West City College, Orange Coast City College and Irvine City College in Orange County, California. I have also taught students with Special Needs in Orange County and have produced remarkable results. I have also taught Math courses at ITT Technical Institute.

I have also worked with Elementary, Middle School and High School Students being home-schooled to make learning a vibrant, engaging, educational, and joyful experience.

I use my heart for teaching to create a passion for learning. With pursuit for academic excellence, I like to focus on teaching the student, not just the coursework.

My teaching philosophy aspires to inspire the heart, educate the mind, and touch the spirit of young people for lives of learning, leadership and service. I use this philosophy towards enriching a student's performance. My mission is to help a student succeed academically and achieve the fullest potential in life.
