My teaching motto: Practice makes perfect. You can achieve anything you set your mind to.

Hi! I am a student at Cal Poly Pomona majoring in Computer Science. I have been helping my friends and family in academic matters for as long as I can remember. I feel comfortable to say that when it comes to teaching or helping you to understand, those around me would say I am the "go to". I try to make things as clear as possible and break things down until simplicity is reached. I always found that it was important to know all the guidelines and steps required for any problem, this way it's more simple to get it down to a science. When helping people I try to make things as interesting and as fun as possible. I totally know what it's like to not want to do something because it's boring.

My teaching style is one-on-one. I will not move or change topics until I know the person I am working with understands completely. I like to offer any alternative methods in order to give the person many tools to solve the same problem. I not only welcome questions, I encourage them. I feel you learn the best when you ask questions pertaining to your curiosity. I always ask questions when I am confused or not totally understanding something. I was always told that there is no such thing as a "dumb" question and truly believe so. I am here to help you, and if that means that you ask a question every 5 seconds, by all means do so. My goal at the end of the day is to leave you with something you did not know the day before. I take education very seriously and I would hope any of my students share my passion. In the words of the late Nelson Mandela:

"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world."
