I took all honors classes in high school and I was two grades ahead in math. Pre-Algebra, Algebra, & Geometry were my best subjects. In college I took highly technical computer design classes & graduated as Salutatorian of my school.

I am by trade a visual FX artist with experience in Maya, Nuke, 3DS Max, ZBrush, After Effects, Mocha, and Photoshop. I've always had a fondness for creating visual FX, and until enrolling at LAFS I was completely self taught. As a Producer/Director I've directed literally hundreds of projects ranging from web videos to feature films. I have also directed dozens of music videos for up-and-coming bands, including three videos for Cage the Elephant before they were signed with a major label.

I have a few years of teaching experience in school systems and summer camps and I look forward to helping you or your child learn the tools to further your education or feed your passion!

Video Production

I took all film courses at Ball State University and graduated the year-long film program at the New York Film Academy and earned an Associates Degree at the Los Angeles Film School. I've produced 5 feature films that all earned worldwide distribution, and I've directed 3 features and literally hundreds of shorts, commercials, and music videos. I'm a writer, director, producer, editor, and vfx artist. I eat, sleep, and breathe film production.

Photography

I was a professional photographer for seven years. I gained experience in Kentucky's largest senior portrait studio before opening my own studio which had a very successful run. I've photographed bands, models, architecture, senior portraits, and have personally shot 98 weddings.

Maya

I graduated the Los Angeles Film School's animation/vfx program with an Associate's Degree. There I learned Maya which I use every single day at my job as a 3D modeler.

Microsoft Windows

I have built 4 computers from scratch and configured their Windows operating systems. I have managed networks and troubleshot problems ranging from registry settings to driver malfunctions to virus attacks. I know how to configure and optimize Windows based on the hardware of the machine.
