My interest in teaching and education developed very early in my life. I have always enjoyed educational settings and had a deep desire to learn and understand. I enjoy every aspect of teaching and working with elementary aged students. During my five student teaching placement in Basic Educational Services Team, I gained experience and relevant skills working in both elementary, middle and high school math, social studies and economics. In addition to developing and implementing class lecture plans, I have also designed behavior modification plans and academic remediation plans for individual studies. Prior to student teaching, I have had the opportunity to gain considerable experience working with children and youth. My tutoring and methods placements have been in a variety of settings, from inner city schools to very rural areas.
My previous teachers have also made an impact on my character as a person, and I hope to do the same with future generations to come. I have completed my Master's degree in Business Administration from University of La Verne, California. I am now working in a company which provides tutoring. This work gives me job satisfaction and a chance for self-development. I became a teacher because I believe that everyone deserves the right to an equal and a good quality education that promotes inclusion and understanding. I believe that by providing a good quality tutoring, I can encourage students to explore their curiosity. I want to use my knowledge and expertise to foster enthusiasm about education.
