My goal is to not only teach my students about their given subject material, but to show them how to pursue learning on their own. If I do my job well, my services will not be needed for long.

After more than ten years of teaching everything from karate for children to real estate licensing for adults, I realized that being a teacher is what I was meant to do. I went back to college in 2007 at Saint Mary's College of California in Moraga and graduated in 2010 with a degree in Liberal & Civic Studies focusing on education, and a minor in Psychology. I am currently on the last leg of my credentialing process for a multiple subject credential, and by this time next year hope to be working as a full-time elementary school teacher.
I am also an Eagle Scout, a 1st Degree Black Belt in Shito-Ryu Karate-do, and have fifteen years of experience performing music live throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
