Hello!
I am Mrs. C., I love to work with children. I believe in a hands on approach, and or any method that will allow the student to learn in a positive manor, for example, if the student learns better with music, mathematically, artistically, or visually. I have my Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Studies, a foundation for those who want to get into education. I am going to attend graduate school next fall for my teaching credentials.
I made it to University throw all forms of struggles. I have a few learning disabilities, that held me back for many years, although, I learned how to over come them and graduate La Verne University, with honors. I want students to understand, even if it's hard, it is possible to learn and understand the material. I want students to understand and believe in themselves! If I can help one student then all the hard work and hours of studying is worth it, for me.
I also have played many years of sports, as well as kept up with my studies. I played Water polo for 14 years (from club to college) and I was on the swim team in high school. I have 4 years of coaching experience as well, from club to high school. I am willing to give students one-one lessons in swimming or water polo skills, if this is your desire.
