I am the Director of Research at the Institute for Faithful Research. I regularly publish written work in many areas of philosophy including: philosophy of mind, philosophy of religion, and philosophical theology. I have served as a guest editor of a peer review journal and have experience editing several books. I earned a BA in philosophy from UC San Diego and an MA in philosophy and theology from Biola University. Currently I am working on a PhD in Philosophy and Religion at Claremont Graduate University. It is my aim to work closely with my students so that they will develop the skills they need to excel to the extent they are able.
From 2007 to 2010 I served as the Director of Christian Education for a non-profit in San Diego CA. In this position I taught weekly courses to high school and college aged students. During this time I had a lot of experience working with students with ADD and ADHD. I have taught and tutored several subjects including philosophy, theology, biblical studies, psychology, writing, history, and Greek. Currently I teach courses on various topics in philosophy, ethics, and theology.
I take a middle of the road approach to tutoring. I believe that repetition and writing are keys to success. When I tutor, I encourage the student to work hard; you can expect your student to practice the same skill until she or he becomes competent at it. For writing and English tutoring, I focus on brevity, clarity, style, and competency.
I am able to tutor: writing (including business writing), editing, philosophy, logic, religious studies, English, and critical thinking.
If you are interested in being tutored by a research professional who has years of publication and business experience please contact me. About me:

By far the best tutor! The man knows his material. I'm ecstatic to have met him and have Paul discuss Philosophy.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I was diagnosed with ADD when I was very young. Over time I learned how to work with my ADD/ ADHD and be very successful in the academic world.
I have had years of training on how to work with students with ADD/ADHD and I have several years of hands-on experience working with groups of students with ADD/ADHD.
I first took ancient Greek in 2001 and have been using it since. I have taught courses in Koine Greek and use it in my research.
I have taken courses on a variety of forms of logic, including sentential logic, predicate logic, and informal logic. In my work I use each of these forms of logic.
