Hi, I am a previous teacher and educational therapist. I have a PhD in psychology and have worked with hundreds of children, adolescents, and families deal with emotional and behavioral issues that may be preventing them from reaching their potential. I am great with people; children and parents are at ease with me and enjoy time spent together talking, learning, and exploring. I greatly value education and love to teach. In addition to my expertise in human behavior and mental health (licensed Marriage, Family, and Child Therapist) I have extensive experience in educational settings, both private and public, as a teacher, counselor, dean of students, educational therapist, and tutor. I have worked with children as young as 5 years of age and adolescents up to age 18 prepare for the GED. I have worked in preschools, elementary schools, middle schools and high schools. It's not enough to know your subject area; you also have to make teaching fun and interesting. I have a great sense of humor and my students have fun while they learn.
