Eric has been a teacher, in a wide variety of workplaces, from the courts of the South Bronx to managing the Trust Services department of Charles Schwab and Co., Inc. He has written articles and books on finance and investing. His specialty is in finding the right word or words for whatever the situation. His passion is the written word and the study of history.
He has been called upon to help graduating seniors write reports and papers. His public speaking includes an event in which he delivered an impromptu speech that brought four hundred people cheering to their feet. His knowledge of history has often been called encyclopedic. He can remember events which took place in 1952 but don't ask him where he left his keys.
Communicating essential value is a key part of his background. The art of the cover letter and the resume hold no mysteries for him and he has crafted many to great effect.
Humor is a central feature of his approach to virtually all subjects as it both relaxes the student and simultaneously distinguishes the writer from the others with whom he or she must compete for attention.
