Elementary (K-6th)

I have worked with many K-6th students with elementary math and English. Typically, I explain concepts to them in easy to understand and simple terms. I also explain concepts in many different ways as well. To reinforce these concepts, we do practice problems together until the student is comfortable. I believe patience and clear communication is key when working with elementary students.

Study Skills

I teach all of my students study skills necessary to do well and succeed on tests and in school. I show my students how to restore information better by using flashcards, visual imagery, acronyms, and a lot more. Because of my expertise in so many subjects, I show them what they need to know for each test as well. How do I receive a discount?

Save between 5 and 15% on tutoring by purchasing credit with one of our prepaid discount packages. You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
